Two things that hold true for me when it comes to food:
I do NOT skip meals(I don't think I've ever skipped a meal in my life AND I'll never understand people that "forget " to eat).
I do NOT compromise on flavor(this means even if I don't have time, am uninspired, or am in a rush - I ALWAYS manage to find a way to be sure that whatever I am eating tastes good! [I mean really... why eat a meal if it doesn't taste good?!]).
When it comes to weeknight meals, I often have to remind myself to KEEP IT SIMPLE!! It seems that sometimes the most basic meals and techniques can also be the most satisfying...
Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks to make (especially after dinner), BUT I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of microwave popcorn! I'm also not a big fan of lots of kitchen gadgets (ie. a popcorn maker), which makes this the perfect popcorn recipe for a girl like me...
Balsamic Glaze is just a fancy way of saying reduced down Balsamic vinegar. It's a super simple way to add lots of flavor to a dish with out adding lots of extra calories or fat.
In order to make quick meals there are a handfull of things you need to know. The most important (in my opinon) is knowing how to use your knife.
Once you've got that down all you have to do is grasp a basic understanding of how to handle the ingredients you're working with and you'll be good to go!
