Hi Dani! Since when I was in Seattle I used to have sweet potatoes, I learned to love them. But.... always the same problem, we don't have them here in Italy. Last week I found on a shelf at the market something called "patate americane" so I grabbed them. From outside they looked just like the real ones, but inside they are white. I've never seen white ones. Have you? The flavor is good but the texture is not really the same. What if I use pumpkin when you use sweet potatoes? Like in this last recipe you posted?
