This Is Gonna Be An Interesting Nine Months

Ever notice how much easier it is to give advice to others compared to how hard it can be to take your own advice?  What’s that all about?

... But I Did it Anyway!

I really didn't feel like going to the gym today.  No particular reason, just didn't feel like it... but i did it anyway.

You all know the feeling.  You really should, you certainly could, you would be happy if you did BUT you really don’t want to. So what do you do?

Are You Doing What You Love?

For as long as I can remember this has been a question at he forefront of my mind. I remember being in college and bouncing from major to major in search of what my passion was.  I seemed to be a little bit interested in everything making it really hard for me to settle in on one major (did I ever tell you guys it took me eight years to get my four year degree?  Yeah, well it did).

Spring Cleaning

People like “stuff”.  You know what I mean.  We tend to hold onto “stuff” year after year. We save and stock up on things that we don’t know what to do with anymore. Maybe we keep things because they hold precious memories of days gone by, or they remind us of our parents, grandparents, past friendships or even our childhood. The idea of parting with these precious possessions seems out of the question.

Slow Down & Step Back

Anybody that knows me also knows that I'm not very likely to choose the most direct route.  I tend to be more of an explorer… a “scanner” if you will.  I like to peek behind all of the curtains before making my final decision.  As a matter of fact my career has been born out of a series of deductions as opposed to direct choices. It has been a slow and steady journey of figuring out what I don’t want to do that has led me to understand what I really do want to do.

Play More, Eat Less

As you guys probably know, I am very passionate about nutritious foods and healthy cooking and although these “ingredients” play a huge part in our over all health and wellness, I believe that at the end of the day the food that truly nourishes us does not come on a plate.
